The Incredible Growing Baby

So it been a little over three weeks since Kamaehu's birth. I see changes in the little guy everyday. Here is a collection of pics in order from earliest to present. Now to the untrained eye he might look the same, however... any parent even without the use of a microscope can see at a cellular rate to which their baby is changing.

One of the names I wanted for Kamaehu was Huntington like in Huntington Beach CA. I lived there for seven years and have a huge place in my heart for HB. Go Pierside! So many good people and friends like family out there.

So like two weeks after Kama's birth we had the circumcision done (insurance stuff) and I stayed in the room. Now I'm not a queasy type of guy, but to see my son in pain... Ouch! The tools look archaic and torturous, kind of scary! Anyway I think the procedure lasted about four minutes and that's when I realized I was holding my breathe the whole time. Good news is Kama is healing well and I hope doesn't remembered what happened or associates my voice with pain.

Kama is drinking 4-6 ounces of formula in a sitting now.

I usually take the early morning shift for feeding the baby. Then I wake up Kyler, Lance, and Elliana for school, make pancakes (silver dollar with chocolate), prepare sack lunches and send them on their way.

Kama is still a chill baby. He cries if he is hungry or if he needs to be changed. Next to that he like to look around. He is working on his neck strength, lots of head lifts!
